Your first LumaNote session

Go from a YouTube video to your first saved insight.

Follow this path once. After that, the workflow becomes a simple habit: add, understand, capture, connect.

1

Sign in to your private library

Choose Continue with Google. Every source, note, transcript, and highlight stays scoped to your account.

2

Paste a YouTube link

Select Add source in Library and paste a normal YouTube video URL. LumaNote fetches the video details automatically.

3

Add the timed transcript

Open the video, enter Focus mode, and choose Transcript. Paste timestamped text or upload a VTT or SRT file.

4

Read the AI overview

Once a transcript is saved, LumaNote creates a concise summary and extracts the key concepts for the video.

5

Capture and connect ideas

Use Highlight for an exact video moment, Note for your own thinking, and Topics to connect related learning.

Your Library will track the rest.

A live checklist shows your progress after sign-in.
